The Sheikh Satisfied with New Nakheel Projects

Two new major projects have been ordered to be started in The Palm Jumeirah by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoom. Nakheel who is the builder of this mega project sought the approval from the ruler of Dubai in this regard and briefed the Sultan about it who approved both the Pointe and Nakheel. According to the estimate, these massive projects will collectively cost AED 3.3 billion out of which Nakheel Mall is the major contributor with a cost of AED 2.5 billion as per the initial assessment.
The briefing was given to the Sheikh by the Nakheel’s Chairman Mr. Ali Rashid who told him about the projects in complete details. He revealed that the Nakheel Mall will be constructed 1 million square feet and he also told about the Pointe which is the other of the two projects. The Palm Jumeirah is shaped like a Palm and the Pointe will have a walk around the palm shaped walk and there will be a lot more than this. There are going to be shops in this Pointe along with the fountains and a marina.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoom was satisfied with the briefing and said that the engineering design was satisfactory but he felt the need of more charms for the tourists. Nakheel is having some problems with its finances as it has a lot of debt to pay but it has showed a profit of 57% increment in the year 2012. But the experts at Bayut believe that it still has some huge projects at hand and with improving financial position, there are fair chances of it bouncing back.

Dubai is a Charmer for Investors and Tourists

The international community has been looking towards Dubai for the past several years as it is one of the most famous cities in the world today for business, education, job opportunities and tourism. This is the reason why the country has been getting so good a response from the global investors and some of the biggest companies and organizations have set up their regional or central head offices in the Dubai City. Some of the top marble companies in the world have set up their regional offices in Dubai, though there main centers are in Europe and North America.
Another example is of the International Cricket Council which had its office in the historical Cricket stadium of Lord’s in the London City, however, as the focus of Cricket has now turned to Asia and the Asian countries like India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are major revenue generators for the ICC, they have established their central head-office in Dubai. They could have set it up in any other part of the world or any country in Asia but Dubai was preferred because of the excellent conditions and a great commercial environment in the city and at the same time the tax system of Dubai also suits the organizations.
For years, the international flights that fly to long distances have been taking stay-overs at Dubai Airport and getting their tanks refilled here. This not only shows the confidence of the international community in the United Arab Emirates but also depicts the great diplomatic ties that the UAE has been able to establish with most of the world through its brilliant public relations strategy. The amenities that this city provides to the investors and expats make it one of the most preferred places for investment in the region and the outstanding locations and attractions like Dubai Marina, Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Mall etc. make it an alluring charm for the tourists as well.

For this reason, some of the most exotic real estate projects were begun in the city and one of those extravaganzas are Downtown Dubai properties which include the magnanimous project like Burj Khalifa which continues to hold the world record of being the highest residential tower on the face of the globe today.
The property sector in the city has been booming ever since the late 90s when Burj al Arab was constructed and it peaked during the 2006-07. The property business in the city along with tourism and other businesses flourished and in a very short span of time, projects like Downtown Dubai, The Palm Jumeirah and others surfaced that took the world by a storm. Greenery refreshes the Minds

We are in a world where everyone is after money because the way the time is evolving, it has become extremely difficult for people to live without it. Luxury has become a need and the need has become a necessity. As a result, the working hours throughout the world are increasing and the life has become much faster than it was some sixty or seventy years ago. It is a fact that most of us prefer staying in office and do some work instead of going and seeing our friends which is a must for keeping the brain healthy and fresh.
At such a time, when the routines have become so hectic and keeping in touch with the friends has become almost impossible, it is these recreation spots where one can go and spend some time to get fresh. Keeping this in mind, the developers in the Dubai city make sure that there is always some space left in the society for parks, cinema halls, malls and other such places where families and friends can hang out and spend some time together. The green effect is always refreshing for the mind and a fresh mind is a must for doing the work in a way that it should be done.
The recent opening of Al Ittihad Park by was also a part of the same resolve that Dubai must be green and the declaration by Emaar properties that every new property project that it makes will certainly have big space for parks and greenery will be given the first priority in it, is also a link in the same chain. The decision of turning the city into a green city was lauded by the public and the new look will definitely be refreshing for the eyes and minds. This Go Green concept is a very good step in terms of business as well because as the environmentalism is gaining pace all over the world, the public really appreciates it these days so the real estate market is also going to get favors from it.
