The latest announcement by the FCW i.e. Falconcity of
Wonders to make a model of the great Taj Mahal of India in Dubai
has caught the eyes of many Bollywood filmmakers in India . Although the project has
just been announced so far and there doesn’t seem to be any way in which it
could get completed before 2014 yet the Bollywood producers have already
expresses their desire to shoot a movie in this Mini Taj called as the “Taj
Arabia”. Bollywood film-makers are known for shooting their movies at
spectacular locations in India
and outside India
to promote their culture and tourism and for them, this comes up as a golden
opportunity to do just that.
FCW had promised that it would make the models of all the
wonders and famous places of the world in Dubai
and Taj Mahal is just one of them. It stands among some of the most special
buildings in the world that include The Eiffel Tower, The Leaning tower of Pisa ,
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon ,
The Great Wall of China and also The Pyramids of Egypt. This time they
Falconcity administration has decided to look towards the Indian subcontinent
and what other than the magical structure of Taj Mahal could be more beautiful
to reach there.
The Moghul architecture is one of the acknowledged pieces of
arts in the world and certainly is a distinguished one with mesmerizing
structures like Delhi’s Red Fort, Lahore Fort (Pakistan), Badshahi Mosque
(Lahore, Pakistan), Sultan Iltumish’s tomb in Delhi, Jamia Mosque Delhi and scores
of tombs of the great kings and queens, magnificent gardens and spectacular
mosques while Taj Mahal can simply be called as the epicenter of this marvelous
streak. This certainly is something that should be there in that top league.
Falconcity, which is a part of Dubailand entertainment
complex, will have shopping malls, commercial and residential plots, living
apartments and commercial studios along with the restaurants, hotels, spas and
health clubs. While in the Taj Arabia it will most probably be of Indian style
depicting their rich history and culture and the film-makers from India would
surely love to be there along with their cameras and crew.
