Dubai administration has always vowed to make Dubai a welfare state where people and their welfare come first and foremost in the eyes of the state. One of the most advanced technologies recently introduced by the Dubai Healthcare Authority (DHA) is the DATIX system. The system is named as “Aman” and this technology helps improve the quality of treatment of the patient as it keeps a record of the patients and thus helps the doctors to understand the issue in minimum time. The system is used all over the world and is currently being used by around 20,000 hospitals across the globe.

Deputy Director-General of DHA, His Excellency Khalid Al Sheikh Mubarak shared his view that it is the first priority of DHA to improve the healthcare facilities in the city and patient’s safety comes first when it comes to prioritizing the list of responsibilities at DHA. Doctors have also expressed gratitude in this regard as they believe that this system will help them understand the case of the patient and will minimize the risk for patient as any reaction of a mistakenly taken medicine will be immediately detected and his complete data will help understand his genetics.
